Juvenile Stabbed in Northridge
A teenage victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition after being stabbed Monday in Northridge. Officers responded to the 9600 block of Balboa Boulevard, near Plummer Street, around 5:05 p.m. to reports regarding a stabbing victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was unclear what motivated the stabbing moments before the suspect fled the scene. Detectives described the suspect as a man in his 50s, last seen wearing a dark-colored beanie and jacket. The suspect was a transient, according to NBC4. The boy was stabbed in the stomach in a church’s playground, Fox11 reported. The investigation into the stabbing continued Monday evening.
