Injured Fontana hiker rescued in Aztec Falls area

San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies rescued a 24-year-old Fontana woman who became injured as she was hiking in the San Bernardino County Mountains on Tuesday, July 18, sheriff's officials say. The woman was hiking in the Aztec Falls area of the Pacific Crest Trail northeast of Lake Arrowhead when she slipped and fell, rolling her ankle, according to a San Bernardino County sheriff's news release.
