Katy Perry can’t stop talking about her feud with Taylor Swift

OK, to be fair, maybe reporters keeping asking Katy Perry about Taylor Swift, but the “Swish Swish” singer remains eager to go on at length in interviews about how she’s ready to forgive Swift and she’s sorry for anything she did to offend her.
The latest stop on what’s amounted to Perry’s apology tour was on Australia’s “Today” show, where she insisted that there’s no bad blood anymore between the two singers, the Huffington Post reported. She added that even if they are no longer friends, she still cares for Swift.
“I love her. I always have,” said Perry, 32. “We’ve had our differences but I just continue to say, ‘God bless her on her journey.’”
Back in May, Perry  first confirmed the feud on James Corden’s show, putting to rest years of speculation and veiled references to the supposed conflict between the two singers. Back then, she sounded a little less contrite, revealing that Swift started the feud by firing some backup dancers after they worked for one of her shows.
“It’s so crazy!” Perry told Corden, before saying she’s ready for the feud to be done but that Swift needs to make the first move.
Well, Swift, 27,  hasn’t made any kind of move — at least not publicly.
Or maybe she did, reintroducing her entire back catalogue on Spotify on June 9, the same day that Perry dropped her latest offering“Witness.”
But in an interview with Arianna Huffington  published the next day, Perry kept the feud conversation going by saying she was ready to bury the hatchet with Swift.
“I am ready to let it go,” Perry said. “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her.”
She then went on at length about how there are “bigger fish to fry,” what with all the “real problems in the world.”
Officially, Swift last addressed the feud in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone, in which she accused some unnamed singer of “sabotaging” her world tour.
It remains to be seen whether Perry’s latest comments about wanting to mend fences will prompt any reply from Swift. In the meantime, Perry is currently filming the music video for “Swish Swish,” the rumored response to Swift’s “Bad Blood” track, seen as a diss against Perry.
