Police identify, seek Pittsburg homicide suspect

PITTSBURG — Officers are asking for the public’s help in finding a person wanted in connection with a fatal shooting this week, police said Thursday.
About 3 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an incident at Baskin Robbins at 4493 Century Boulevard, where they found a 43-year-old Bethel Island man suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch, where he was pronounced dead. Police said they are withholding the man’s identity, pending notification of family members.
Police initially believed the men knew each other, and credited community cooperation with quickly identifying Larry Darryl Neal Jr., 19, of Antioch, as a shooting suspect.
