Police seek Emeryville baseball-bat attack suspect

EMERYVILLE — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who attacked a man with a baseball bat earlier this week.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Emery Street after several 911 calls alerted them to the attack. While officers were on the way, callers told police several people were running from the scene and a man was left bleeding from head wounds.
When police arrived and questioned the man, he told them he did not know his attacker. Paramedics took the man to an area hospital.
