Police seek Antioch bank robbery suspect

ANTIOCH — Police said they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the US Bank branch inside Raley’s, 3632 Lone Tree Way, for a report of a robbery, Antioch police Sgt. Tom Fuhrmann said late Thursday.
When officers arrived, they learned a male wearing a hood and gloves demanded money from a teller at gunpoint.
After the male jumped the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store and got into the passenger side of a red Dodge pickup truck.
Officers located the truck hours later a few blocks from the store, and found it had been reported stolen out of Pittsburg.
No one was injured during the robbery, Fuhrmann said.
Anyone with information should call Antioch police’s investigative unit at 925-779-6900.
