Fire crews knock down blaze in Berkeley garage

BERKELEY — Firefighters in Berkeley on Friday morning have knocked down a two-alarm house fire.
The garage fire broke out in the 1300 block of Arch Street near Spruce and Rose streets.

The blaze was first reported before 5 a.m. Police evacuated the surrounding area, but residents have since been allowed back into the area.
There have been no reports of injuries.
