Livermore’s closed golf course: What to do with the land?

LIVERMORE — Potential uses for the closed Springtown golf course will be discussed in a public meeting Tuesday.
The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District will present two conceptual proposals for use of the closed municipal golf course.
The city has asked the recreation and park district to take the lead in planning open space uses for the golf course such as a play areas, dog park, gardens, trails, and sport fields.
The two alternative conceptual plans for the golf course area will be posted online at www.larpd.org by July 26.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave.
