17 cars damaged, 1 stolen at hotel in Brentwood

BRENTWOOD — Police are investigating a rash of car break-ins that occurred at the Hampton Inn on Brentwood Blvd.
Police received a call at approximately 4 a.m. Friday from an individual reporting that car windows had been smashed at the hotel parking lot, Brentwood police said. When officers arrived at the scene and investigated, they found that 17 cars had been broken into. Most of those cars had their windows smashed, although police said valuables were not stolen in some of the cars.
Another individual reported a vehicle stolen from the same location, police said.
Police have not estimated the cost of the damage.
No arrests have been made and police were unable to obtain a description of any suspects.
