Concert to open 40th anniversary Kensington Symphony season

KENSINGTON — The Kensington Symphony Orchestra will open its 40th anniversary season on Oct. 28 with a concert of music by  Brahams and Dvorak.
Geoffrey Gallegos will conduct the “Mentor & Protege: kindred spirits” concert, featuring cellist Richard Andaya, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley, 1 Lawson Road in Kensington.
Tickets are $20 adults, $15 seniors and students, available at the door or in advance at Kensingtonsymphonyorchestra.org. A specials anniversary season ticket is also available for $40.
