76-year-old man missing from Norco elder care center

NORCO >> A 76-year-old man who went missing from his Norco elderly care facility has Riverside County Sheriff’s officials concerned, they said Friday.
John McCormack suffers from dementia and diabetes and The Norco Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the man who Friday afternoon was discovered to be missing, the department said in a statement.
On Friday afternoon,  deputies assigned to the Norco Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 4000 block of Crestview Drive to learn about the missing man.
McCormack is described as white, 5’ feet 8” inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown and gray hair and  blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a gray polo shirt, khaki shorts and tennis shoes.  McCormack walks with a cane, the statement said.
Norco Sheriff’s Deputies asked for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Helicopter and a Riverside County Sheriff’s K9 bloodhound, but he wasn’t found.  Additionally, Norco volunteers, along with residents on horseback assisted in the search.
