Suspect in Redlands homicide found dead in apparent suicide at Jurupa Valley golf course

A Riverside man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend in Redlands last week died in an apparent suicide Sunday morning, Feb. 18, in Jurupa Valley, Redlands police said.
Bradley Thomas Woss, 33, was found dead with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound about 7:15 a.m. Sunday at Indian Hills Golf Club, according to a news release from the Redlands Police Department. The course is at 5700 Club House Drive in the Mira Loma area of Jurupa Valley.
The release also publicly identified the victim for the first time: Kacey Renee McKinney, 31, of Redlands.
The night of Tuesday, Feb. 13, Woss and McKinney got into an altercation over her new relationship, Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said. The shooting was reported about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkview Terrace apartment complex in the 1600 block of Barton Road.
McKinney died at the scent; a neighbor said she collapsed in a stairwell.
The new boyfriend was also there, and suffered minor injuries jumping from a second-floor balcony, Baker said.
Woss was quickly identified as the suspect, and police issued an alert to the public that he was to be considered armed and dangerous.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was called out to the golf course Sunday morning to a report of a suicide. There were no signs of foul play, said Investigator Armando Munoz, a sheriff’s spokesman.
Redlands police asked anyone with additional information about the case to call dispatchers at 909-798-7681, ext. 1, or email Detective Wil Goff at
