Entries of ‘all things digital’ sought for Temecula Digifest

The nonprofit JDS Creative Academy is seeking sponsors, speakers and entries of “all things digital” for it’s second annual Digifest set for April 13 through 15 in Temecula.
Any media which is designed or enhanced digitally, including film, video, animation, music, games, photography, graphics and comics, can be submitted for the event and competition. Entrants must be ages 10 and up, and there are student, amateur and professional categories. The deadline to enter is March 31.
The event will include speakers from the digital media field, presentations, workshops, screenings, digital exhibits, and expo vendors, and will take place at JDS Studios, 28069 Diaz Road in Temecula and in other locations around the city.
According to a news release from the group, speakers include John Corser from NBC/Universal, Disney Animation Developer Mike Morris, Cartoon Network Animators Justin and Josh Parpan, and Creative Suite Trainer David Creamer, who will present an Adobe After Effects workshop. The event will also feature a presentation of Marsha Hunt’s “Sweet Adversity: The Documentary.”
