Recipe: Apricot Brandy

1 to 1¼ pounds dried apricots
1 pound rock candy
1 quart vodka

Layer apricots and candy in a Fido 2-liter jar with clamp-style lid or a wide-mouthed half-gallon jar.
Pour vodka over apricots and candy. Close jar and shake. Keep on kitchen counter. Allow to age up to three months, shaking once a week. Remove candy strings from liquid and enjoy.
