Bobby Brown offers support to girlfriend of man “legally responsible” for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death

Bobby Brown has reached out to the girlfriend of Nick Gordon, the man found “legally responsible” for the death of Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, after Gordon was arrested on domestic violence charges over the weekend.
Brown is offering Laura Leal assistance through the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, a nonprofit organization founded for and named after the only shared child between Brown and Whitney Houston.

“Domestic violence killed my daughter, and on March 4, 2018, the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House held our first event to strike back at domestic violence. I personally would like to extend my hand to Ms. Leal and offer her services through our organization,” Brown said in a statement, according to US Weekly .
“I do not want to see any more families destroyed at the hands of domestic violence and I do not want any more women to suffer like my daughter did. We are here to assist and we hope to hear from Ms. Leal.”
Gordon, 29, was taken into custody early Saturday morning. He himself called 911 from his Florida home to report an altercation with Leal. “My girlfriend is acting insane on me right now,” he said on the emergency call with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, which was obtained by The Blast .
Gordon told the dispatcher that Leal, who can be heard in the background, had called police on him before. Later in the call, he began to cry as he pleaded for help. “I feel so lame because I’m getting beat up by a woman,” he said. “She just threw a bottle. Please.”
Police arrived at the scene, but determined Gordon was the aggressor.
According to the police report obtained by Us Weekly, officers observed a swollen lip with dried blood on Leal, but she refused to press charges or seek medical treatment. She told police that Gordon struck her several times as she was driving him home from a bar, and that the argument continued at his residence.
Gordon was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court in early April. He was previously arrested for battery against Leal in June 2017.
Gordon was 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub full of water in January 2015. Toxicology reports found drugs in her system.
She was in a coma for six months and died after being taken off life support.
