Letter: VTA’s BART construction offices better downtown

VTA’s BART construction
offices better downtown
It is unconscionable VTA didn’t lease their BART Phase 2 construction offices downtown.
There were plenty of economical B building office options downtown instead of at the airport. The 170 VTA staff and consultants should be working on top of their subway project rather than three miles away.

If they’d made this big, nine-year lease downtown, VTA would send an entirely different message to the community that will be most impacted by the BART construction on a daily basis.
