Team Trump jumps on the Yanny/Laurel bandwagon

With the Yanny/Laurel sensation sweeping the nation, it was just a matter of time before our Commander in Chief weighed in.
That moment came on Thursday, as the creative staff at the White House joined in on the viral debate over whether people hear the names “Laurel” or “Yanny” in a much-shared audio clip.
Trump’s staffers released a video featuring various members of the administration testifying about what they heard and when they heard it.
It starts with the president’s senior adviser and trusted daughter Ivanka, who seems self-assured, in command and clearly more on top of things than other members of her immediate family:  “So clearly Laurel,” says Number One Daughter.
Next up is strategic-communications director Mercedes Schlapp: “Yanny’s the winner, Laurel’s the loser.”
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway pokes fun at her endless willingness to spin and bend the truth for the president, saying, “It’s Laurel. But I could deflect and divert to Yanny if you need me to.” Related Articles

“I hear covfefe.”
