The monarch traditionally bestows titles on princes and their spouses on the day of their wedding.
Harry also was named Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel, in keeping with the tradition of awarding titles from different constituent parts of the United Kingdom, the Economic Times said.

With fewer than two hours before the arrival of Meghan at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, guests began to arrive. Oprah Winfrey and Idris Elba were two of the first celebrities spotted arriving. Oprah was wearing a pink dress, as well as a hat, in keeping with the dress code for a royal wedding. Hers had a wide brim with pink flowers.

Kensington Palace on Saturday also revealed that Meghan’s wedding ring is made out of Welsh Gold and was a gift of the queen.
The tradition of the royal family using Welsh gold for wedding rings began in 1923 with the Queen Mother, then later The Queen, Princess Margaret, Princes Anne, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, CNN reported.
Other members of the royal family to have Welsh gold wedding rings include Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall.
Prince Harry’s ring will be a platinum band with a textured finish, Kensington Palace said.
