“Dancing With the Stars: Athletes” (8 p.m., ABC): Well, that was quick. Seems like this abbreviated special edition of the reality series just got started and here we are at the finale already. So who’s going to win the ballroom battle and waltz away with that hideous mirrorball trophy? Will it be Adam Rippon (with Jenna Johnson)? Josh Norman (with Sharna Burgess)? Or will Tonya Harding (with Sasha Farber) pull off the upset? And just one more question: Why isn’t Mirai Nagasu in this lineup?

“NCIS” (8 p.m., CBS): In the Season 15 finale, Sloane is adamant that a man who held her hostage and tortured her years ago in Afghanistan and was believed to have been killed following her rescue, is alive and in D.C. Now, Vance and Gibbs fear Sloane is willing to risk everything to destroy him.
“Man With a Plan” (8:30 p.m., CBS) : In the Season 2 finale, Andi proposes an exciting idea for Adam and her to go into business together when she isn’t able to find work. Also, Adam tackles the most challenging job of his life – renovating Joe and Bev’s (Swoosie Kurtz) kitchen.
“American Idol” (9 p.m., ABC):  Can “Idol” get back to producing superstars? The resuscitated singing competition takes the first step toward that goal when it reveals its winner tonight — but not before a bloated two-hour finale packed with musical performances. The episode will feature performances by judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. Other performers include Bebe Rexha, Darius Rucker, Gary Clark Jr., Kermit the Frog, Nick Jonas + Mustard, Patti LaBelle, Yolanda Adams and ‘Idol” contestants.
