Crime Report: Saratoga blotter for April 30 to May 6

Mail Theft: Between 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on March 23, just after the mail package was delivered to the victim’s doorstep in the 13000 block of Christie Drive, the victim discovered unknown suspect(s) took the contents of the package for a total loss of about $210.
Identity Theft: On April 19, the victim discovered unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to open a checking account and attempted to transfer about $10,000 from the victim’s account to the fraudulent one. The victim lives in Saratoga.
Grand Theft: Between 5 p.m. on April 27 and 1 p.m. on April 29, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 20000 block of Manor Drive and took a backpack containing a laptop for a total loss of about $1,040.
Soliciting without a Permit: On April 30 at 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 13000 block of Pierce Road for a municipal code violation complaint. An investigation revealed the suspect was soliciting without a permit. The suspect was cited and released.
Prowling: On May 2 between 6:20 p.m. and 8:20 p.m., the suspect(s) were wandering around the victim’s property in the 19000 block of Three Oaks Way without any apparent lawful purpose, ringing the doorbell at one point. The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.
Trespassing: On May 3 at 8:17 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 12000 block of Titus Avenue. An investigation revealed the suspect was trespassing after previous admonishments not to return to the premises and had an outstanding warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.
