San Pablo man dies in motorcycle crash

SAN PABLO — A San Pablo man died Saturday night after the motorcycle he was driving and another car crashed in the unincorporated part of the city, the California Highway Patrol said.
Jason Johnson, 33, died at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek after being airlifted there in a medical helicopter, CHP spokesman Officer Matthew Hamer said. Officers found Johnson down after arriving to the corner of Sheryl Drive and Rachel Road around 11:18 p.m.
Details of the crash were not available immediately, but Johnson was down on the street when officers arrived, and Hamer said the motorcycle collided with a black sports car.
