Man found dead in East Oakland creek identified

OAKLAND — A man whose partially decomposed body was found in an East Oakland creek  Sunday morning was identified by authorities Wednesday as Trino Blueford, 55, whose last known adddress was in San Leandro.
How he died has not yet been determined by the coroner’s office, police said.
Blueford was found about 9:25 a.m. Sunday in a creek in the 8100 block of Baldwin Street not far from the Coliseum BART Station. His body was spotted by two people walking to the station.
Police said they are not sure how long he had been in the creek, but he was last seen by other people two weeks before he was found.
Police said they were told he worked occasionally as a security guard.
