Tyler Nathaniel Washington, 21, was arrested by Riverside County sheriff’s deputies and Hemet police at a home in the 500 block of East Devonshire Avenue in Hemet on Monday, May 21, a sheriff’s news release said. Washington was booked on suspicion of murder and robbery.
The second suspect remained at large Wednesday.
Anthony Young, 20, was killed on the evening of April 8 in a shopping center parking lot in the 2000 block of North Perris Boulevard. The two men pulled up to Young in a silver 1998-2000 four-door Lexus GS300 with tinted windows and a sunroof, got out of the car and shot Young.
