Moreno Valley residents can now use smart phones to check, pay electricity bills

Families and businesses that get their electricity from  Moreno Valley’s power utility  can now monitor usage and pay bills via a “MyMVU” mobile application .
Those features already were available through an online customer portal designed for desktop computers, a news release states. The city now has a free mobile app so customers can access their accounts.

Using the app, customers can apply for rebates for Energy Star appliances and find energy efficiency tips as well, the release states.
The municipal utility has 6,400 customers, who can download the app from Apple and Google Play stores.
