NBC Bay Area Wins 2 National Murrow Awards

The Radio Television Digital News Association honored NBC Bay Area with two National Murrow Awards on Tuesday. The NBC Bay Area Digital Team won for “Excellence in Social Media” for their coverage of the North Bay wildfires. RTDNA announced the winners of the 2018 National Murrow Awards from more than 4,400 entries, recognizing 89 local and network radio, television and digital news organizations for 118 examples of outstanding journalism in 16 categories. Other honorees include NBC News, CBS News, KCRA-TV, The New York Times and NPR. The national awards will be presented October 22, 2018, at the RTDNA Edward R.
