69th anniversary celebration for Menifee couple

Dolores and David Hartzheim of Menifee celebrated their 69th anniversary in May with a dinner with family at Texas Roadhouse and a dinner with friends at Applebee’s, both in Menifee.
They were married May 7, 1949, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton, Wis.
David Hartzheim was a general contractor for 39 years and retired in 2004. He participates in activities at the Sun Meadows clubhouse, sings with the Harmoneers Chorale in Hemet and enjoys model railroads, gardening and jigsaw puzzles.
Dolores Hartzheim is a homemaker and worked part time as a waitress and welcome wagon hostess. She is a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoys playing card and dice games, cooking and baking and thrift shopping.

Their children are David and Dee Hartzheim of College Place, Wash.; Diane and Michael Miernik of Menifee; Daniel and Solita Hartzheim of Yorba Linda; Debra and Steve Buchanan of Riverside; Dennis and Pamela Hartzheim of Anaheim Hills; and Donald Hartzheim of Fontana.
They have 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
