San Jose: Two die in Pineland Ave. shooting

A woman and man died in South San Jose early Sunday morning from gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Officers responded to a report at nearly 3 am that a person had been shot, according to San Jose police in a brief news release.
When they arrived, they found a woman dead at the home in the 6000 block of Pineland Avenue.
A man whom they found suffering from at least one gunshot wound died shortly after being taken to a local hospital.
Police did not release their names pending notification of next of kin.
There are no outstanding suspects.
