VISTA (KGTV) - A man is on the run in Vista after allegedly stabbing his wife Sunday night, according to San Diego Sheriff's Deputies. His daughter reported the stabbing shortly before 8 p.m., and he left on foot with a knife in the 1000 block of Corvalla Drive. Sheriff's deputies have been looking for him with a K-9 unit as well as a helicopter. The wife was transported to the hospital with a stab wound to the back, according to deputies. There is no further word on her condition. The man, 55, is said to be wearing no shirt with brown shorts. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or the San Diego Sheriff's Office. He may have stabbed another family member, but sheriff's deputies could not yet confirm that. This is a developing story. 10News will update as details become available.
