Pursuit from Azusa to Rancho Cucamonga ends with crash, apprehension of suspects

Two people were detained when a vehicle crashed at the end of a police pursuit from Azusa to Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
The circumstances surrounding the pursuit were not available Tuesday night.
The chase apparently began with Azusa police tracking the suspect, and the pursuit entered the Rancho Cucamonga area about 5:30 p.m. The driver exited the 210 Freeway at Milliken Avenue and traveled to the area of Victoria Park Lane and Kenyon Way, where the driver crashed into another vehicle.
The driver and passenger were removed from the vehicle without further trouble, the Sheriff’s Department said. The incident ended about 7:30 p.m.
