Warriors-Jazz cheatsheet: Utah looking to take season series over the champs

OAKLAND – With the all-star break on the horizon, the Warriors will try win to win their fourth straight game, while the Jazz, who are in the midst of their own mid-season run, will try to ruin the champs’ good vibes Tuesday night.
Here’s everything you need to know about the matchup.
When/Where: Oracle Arena, 7:30 p.m (NBCSBA)
Jazz projected starting lineup: Derrick Favors, Joe Ingles, Rudy Gobert, Ricky Rubio, Donovan Mitchell
Jazz Stock Report: Since the last matchup between these two teams , the Jazz been on a roll, posting an 18-7 record, playing their way into sixth place in the Western Conference following a 15-17 start.
Coinciding with Utah’s recent play has been the recent performance of second-year guard Donovan Mitchell, who averaged 27.7 points, 5.1 assists and 4.4 assists in the month of January, leading the Jazz to victories over the Nuggets and Pistons.
Last season, the Jazz made the playoffs despite a 14-17 start, using a strong finish to the year. This season, Utah’s remaining schedule, which is the league’s third-easiest, could open the door for a repeat performance.
While Golden State has won 15 of their last 16 games, Utah has had a bit of success over the champs of late, winning four of their last five matchups against the Warriors dating back to last season.
Last matchup: Warriors 103, Jazz 108

Stephen Curry scored 32 points, while Kevin Durant added 30 points as the Warriors snapped a two-game winning streak. Ingles had 20 points, three rebounds and three assists, while Gobert added 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Jazz.
Jazz storylines:
Rudy Gobert deals with all-star
After finding out he would not make the all-star team, Gobert was moved to tears talking to the media, saying he felt, “disrespected.”

Many NBA players, including Golden State forwards Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala and Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas took to Twitter to chide the Jazz center.

I guess I should cry too… no Charlotte?
