UCLA’s Jaylen Hands, Kris Wilkes named All-Pac-12 second team

Sophomore guards Jaylen Hands and Kris Wilkes have been voted to the All-Pac-12 second team, the conference announced Monday.
The coaches voted on a 10-man first team and a five-man second team. Center Moses Brown was voted to the All-Freshman team. Brown also honorable mention All-Defensive team.
The trio of former McDonald’s All-Americans led the Bruins to a 16-15 overall record and 9-9 finish in Pac-12 play as UCLA starts its postseason Wednesday in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas against Stanford.
Hands leads the league with 6.3 assists per game. He and Wilkes were the only two UCLA players to start all 31 games this season. Wilkes led the team in scoring with 17.3 points per game, which ranks fourth in the conference.
Brown, a 7-foot-1 freshman from Queens, N.Y., averaged 10.2 points and 8.5 rebounds during the regular season. He played in 30 games, missing the regular-season finale due to a suspension.
