San Jacinto Valley Women’s Conference inspires, helps others

The 8th Annual San Jacinto Valley Women’s Conference inspired attendees and raised money for charity and scholarships.
The event, which had a theme of “Connect. Elevate. Inspire,” was Thursday, Feb. 28, at The Country Club at Soboba Springs near San Jacinto.
In the past seven years, the conference has distributed $28,000 in scholarship awards for San Jacinto Valley women and given $5,000 to local charities.
Keynote speaker, author Haydee Antezana, discussed the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, a news release states. Other speakers addressed meditation, the importance of finding out what’s unique about oneself and how individuals can tell their stories, the release states.

The conference was established in 2010, by Jerri Randrup, who worked with the Women in Business Committee of the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce, according to the release.
