Father of missing Corona boy arrested, police ask public’s help in finding the 8-year-old

An 8-year-old Corona boy is missing with his father getting arrested on suspicion of child abuse, Corona police said Thursday.
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding the boy, Noah McIntosh, who has not been seen for about two weeks, Corona Sgt. Chad Fountain said.
Officers were called just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 4600 block of Temescal Canyon Road and spoke to Noah’s mother, then tried to contact the boy’s father, Bryce McIntosh, at a local apartment, police said.
The father did not respond to numerous efforts to reach him, police said, and a warrant was served on the apartment Wednesday morning, with nearby residents evacuated.
Bryce McIntosh was found inside the apartment with his 11-year-old daughter, but the missing boy was not there.
Officers arrested the father, and have contacted local family members to try and unsuccessfully find the boy.
Police asked that anyone who has seen Noah in the past two weeks to contact Senior Detective Mario Hernandez at 951-279-3659 or at Mario.Hernandez@CoronaCA.gov.
