Hayward police seek missing pre-teen 

HAYWARD — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing boy.

On Thursday afternoon, Ja’quory Sturns-Evans, 11, left his school’s campus before classes ended, police said in a community alert sent shortly after 3:45 p.m.
He was last seen alone on the 26000 block of Eldridge Avenue, police said in a statement.
Sturns-Evans is 4 feet tall and 80 pounds with black fade-cut hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt with gold writing, a blueish-gray shirt, gray pants and red-and-navy Air Jordan sneakers, and carrying a blue backpack with green straps.
