San Jose: Six arrested in fatal Dollar Tree store stabbing

SAN JOSE — Half a dozen suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old man at a Berryessa Dollar Tree store in April, San Jose police announced Tuesday.
On April 4, officers were dispatched to the business at 1178 N. Capitol Ave. about 6:50 p.m. for a report of a person stabbed. They arrived to find Ryan Rousse suffering from at least one stab wound.
Rousse was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses told detectives Rousse was chased by a group of people into the Dollar Tree, where a physical confrontation ensued, according to San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten.
Tepoorten said detectives arrested four suspects the night of the stabbing. They were identified as 27-year-old Virginia Cervantes, 48-year-old Susan Sparr, 28-year-old Gabriel Rodriguez and 25-year-old Kevin Tran.
A fifth suspect, 24-year-old Anthony De La Torre, was arrested on April 18 and a sixth, 19-year-old Dialo Terry, on May 17.
All six San Jose residents were booked into Santa Clara County jail on a charge of murder, according to Tepoorten.
