Man arrested on suspicion of stabbing and killing man in Muscoy over the weekend

Detectives arrested a San Bernardino man Tuesday on suspicion of stabbing and killing a Muscoy man after an argument in the early hours of Saturday.
Emmanuel Oyola, 21, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. after the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said he killed 22-year-old Muscoy resident Jonathan Bustos.
The Sheriff’s Department said deputies responded to the 1900 block of West Mesa Street in Muscoy at 3 a.m. on Saturday in response to a stabbing.
“Deputies arrived and found Bustos suffering from a stab wound,” the Sheriff’s Department said in a press release. “Medical personnel transported Bustos to San Bernardino Community Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 4:12 a.m.”
Officials said Bustos lived on West Mesa Street and was stabbed in an altercation related to a party in a neighboring house. The Sheriff’s Department said the man who stabbed Bustos was identified as Oyola.
Oyola was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on suspicion of murder and is ineligible for bail, according to court records. He was scheduled to appear at the San Bernardino Superior Court on Thursday.
