Fatal Car Shooting Shuts Down SB Highway 70 At Feather River Road; Search On For Suspects

10 p.m. Update: A possible case of road rages left one man dead, and another in the hospital Wednesday night. Officials are still searching for the people responsible.
Officers, detectives, investigators, shutting down all southbound lanes of Highway 70 in Plumas Lake Wednesday. The scene remained active into the 10 o’clock hour.
Officers say an argument turned into a shooting, and now it’s a homicide investigation.
Officials are looking for three men, who are considered armed and dangerous, driving a gold Ford Focus. The driver is described as a white or Hispanic male with short brown hair. Passenger 1 is a white or Hispanic male with a ponytail, and the second passenger is a black male with braided hair.
YUBA COUNTY (CBS13) — Officials are searching for a suspect car after a shooting hit two people on Highway 70.
CHP said the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. They are driving a gold Ford Focus with all tinted windows. The driver is described as a white or Hispanic male with short brown hair. Passenger 1 is a white or Hispanic male with a ponytail, and the second passenger is a black male with braided hair.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s office said the shooting killed one person and sent another to the hospital with unknown injuries.
