DUI suspect hospitalized after Menlo Park collision

MENLO PARK — A 25-year-old resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hospitalized after a two-vehicle injury collision at an intersection, authorities said Sunday.
Just before 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of the collision at southbound El Camino Real and Oak Grove Avenue, police said in a statement.
When officers arrived, they learned one vehicle had caught fire, but all four people inside got out with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other vehicle’s solo driver, identified by police as Luke Quinton, was taken to a hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators later arrested him on suspicion of the DUI charge before he received treatment for collision-related injuries.
