San Jose: Man stabbed near Guadalupe River Trail downtown

SAN JOSE — A man was stabbed late Thursday near the Guadalupe River Trail in downtown but is expected to survive, according to police.

Officers were called about 11:55 p.m. to Santa Clara Street at the Highway 87 overpass, and found a man suffering from at least one stab wound, according to Officer Gina Tepoorten.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were described as not life-threatening, Tepoorten said.

No suspects have been identified or arrested. Additional details were not immediately released by police.
