Oceanside man, 22, dies in suspected DUI rollover crash
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Officers responded to a major injury collision Thursday night that killed one man and injured another, the Oceanside Police Department said Friday. According to police, the crash happened on westbound state Route 76 east of Loretta Street around 11:08 p.m. Thursday. The passenger, a 22-year-old man also from Oceanside, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered major injuries, including head trauma, according to officers. The passenger, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.
